DMU 160 P duoBLOCK® | duoBLOCK® for highest precision

With the new DMU 160 P duoBLOCK® machines DECKEL MAHO opens up the entire performance spectrum of innovative universal milling with a work area (X/Y/Z) of 1,600 mm x 1,250 mm x 1,000 mm and for workpieces up to a weight of 4,000 kg. Both the duoBLOCK®-construction and the solid machine bed provide the highest precision and accuracy. Whether for the production of individual parts or small series in general machine-, tool- and mould construction, for the aerospace industry or for high volume production - the outstanding feature is the capability to simultaneously machine on 5 sides and 5 axes with continuous maximum precision. Other features are the high-performance automatic spindle which turns with 28 kW and 12,000 rpm or 44 kW and 10,000 rpm, the gearbox spindle with 1,100 Nm as well as the rapid traverses of 60 m/min.
